Join Alki Tours on Lunch At The Space Needle And Terra Cotta Warrior Tour

April 12, 2017

April 19, 2017
April 26, 2017
$109 per person

Let's head to the Needle for a lovely luncheon. Next, we'll head to the Pacific Science Center for a look at the amazing Terra Cotta warriors from China. These larger-than-life statues, from the first imperial dynasty of China, were created more than 2,000 years ago for Emperor Qin's 20-square-mile burial compound. The terra-cotta army of thousands of figures includes not just people, but horses and chariots; each figure has unique facial features. The terra-cotta warriors were discovered in 1974 near the city of Xi'an and groups of them occasionally tour the U.S. This group of figures will be shown only in Seattle and Philadelphia.
